How do I create a group?

Tap the "+" button on the Groups screen, give your group a name, and add members by email, username, or by sharing an invite link / QR code.

How does expense splitting work?

When you add an expense to a group, Olik Split automatically divides it among all members. You can also split by custom amounts or use itemized receipt splitting.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. All your data is stored locally on your device. When you're back online, everything syncs automatically with the server.

How does receipt scanning work?

Tap the camera icon when adding an expense. The app uses on-device OCR (no data sent to servers) to extract items and amounts from the receipt photo. Supports Latin, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Devanagari scripts.

Is my data safe?

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Receipt images are processed entirely on your device. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

Send an email to support@oliksplit.app from the email associated with your account, and we will delete all your data within 30 days.
